The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Louis

Making a difference in the lives of our neighbors!

Making a difference.  A simple concept.  We all strive to make a difference in our lives somehow, someway, everyday.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Louis strives to make real differences in the lives of our neighbors in need who experience hunger, homelessness, and poverty.  While what we do is very important, equally important is how we do it.  We believe strongly in carrying out our mission of living our faith through charitable works, serving those in need with material assistance, spiritual enrichment and unconditional love.

Our 2600+ volunteer members called Vincentians, meet with the poor face to face everyday, providing assistance with utility and rent assistance, food, clothing, furniture.

"Let us labor together at God's work with great meekness and humility; these are solid virtues." - St. Louise de Marillac

Contrary to what we may think, it takes a lot of strength to act with calm gentleness in the face of adversity. Help me to grow in the practice of meekness and humility and make them a part of my life, Lord.
